Lake Region Extension Roundup Set For Jan. 7-8 
     The Lake Region Extension Roundup will offer a variety of
informational presentations on agricultural and other topics Jan.
7-8 at the Memorial Building in Devils Lake, sponsored by the
North Dakota State University Extension Service and various
county crop improvement associations.
     Wednesday sessions will focus on peas, soybeans, sunflowers,
corn, alfalfa and canola, Thursday sessions on barley, wheat and
durum.  A number of other sessions will also be offered,
including presentations on cooking, land costs, balancing rations
with low-quality forages and modified living for seniors.
     Speakers will include a number of NDSU extension
specialists, agents and researchers, as well as industry and
association representatives. Each day begins with breakfast at 8
a.m. and ends about 4 in the afternoon.
