National IPM Workshop Scheduled

The third National IPM Workshop will be held from Feb. 27 to
March 1 in  Washington, DC.  This workshop is open to anyone
interested in IPM (integrated pest management).  The workshop
will include poster sessions on 25 different topics, plus a
number of discussion sessions and concurrent sessions.  The
location of the workshop often allows good interaction with key
decision/policy makers, as well.

The plenary session of this IPM Workshop is titled  Putting
Customers First,  with the customers being the farmers, consumers
and consultants.  Discussion sessions will focus on economics of
pest management, various commodities and their pest management
programs, and development of pest management partnerships.  If
