Insect Control EPA Proposes to Cancel Certain Diclorovos (DDVP) Registrations The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed to cancel certain registrations and modify other registrations of the pesticide diclorovos (DDVP). The proposal was listed in the Federal Register on September 28, 1995 on pages 50337 to 50377. EPA has proposed the following cancellations: * all uses in or on residences * tobacco warehouses * ornamental lawns, turf and plants * commercial, institutional, and industrial areas * airplanes, trucks, shipholds, rail cars * warehouses * bulk, packaged, or bagged nonperishable * processed or raw food Many other uses could be restricted or cancelled. Persons wishing to comment about the proposed cancellations should submit three copies of written comments bearing the docket control number "OPP-30000-56" by mail to: Public Response and Program Resources Branch, Field Operations Division (7506C), Office of Pesticide Programs, Environmental Protection Agency, 401 M St., SW., Washington, DC 20460.
