NDSU Agribusiness Club This club is for undergraduate students in Agricultural Economics or
Agribusiness and any other NDSU student interested in agribusiness.
Club members have numerous activities. The club has social and professional
activities, as well as monthly business meetings. Club members have opportunities
to meet members of the business community through its affiliation with
the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA). A representative from
the NAMA professional chapter also serves as a club adviser. Major
activities for 2005-2006 include participation in the NAMA marketing
competition as well as many fun activities including trips and a Halloween
and Christmas party. We also will have an active program of speakers,
local tours, and professional development. In the spring, the club
will award the John Lee Coulter award to recognize an outstanding North
Dakota agribusiness leader. The award is presented at the annual banquet,
along with almost $50,000 in scholarships. We anticipate
an exciting year for the NDSU Agribusiness Club. If you have any
questions, visit a club officer, member, or faculty adviser.
