55% Station and 45% teaching appointment in the College of Humanities and Social Science (Department of Sociology/Anthropology). Current station responsibilities include a) directing the North Dakota State Data Center; b) conducting research in the areas of community development, demographic analysis, and population impact assessment; c) coordinating the federal-state cooperatives for population estimates and projections; and d) coordinating the North Dakota Rural Development Center. Also Executive Director of the North Dakota Kids Count Program. PhD - Michigan State University, 1981.
