With millions of pages on the Web, finding information that fits our needs can be a frustrating
experience. Previously in this section, we describe a number of popular tools for finding
information on the Web. Here we explain some of the search strategies for using these tools to
their fullest potential. These search strategieskeyword searching, phrase searching, boolean searching, field searching, and wildcard searchingare pretty common across search tools.
