Web Hosting Sites

Your ISP may offer Web space as part of your service contract. If not, here are a number of free sites where you can host your page. The sites offer a variety of services to help you create Web pages, so they are especially helpful for beginners. But, there is no free lunch. In return for the free space, you will see advertising and/or site watermarks on your site.

  • Homestead This site was the PC Magazine Editors' Choice in their April 6, 1999 review. It offers design flexibility, help for beginners, and even chat room features.
