Organizing Bookmarks (Favorites)

  • Organize your bookmarks (Favorites) into folders.

In Netscape, Select Bookmarks…Edit Bookmarks. Then select File…New Folder. When prompted, give the folder a name and select OK. You can then drag bookmarks into the folder.

In Internet Explorer, select Favorites…Organize Favorites. Click on the Create New Folder bar  to create a new folder. You can then drag bookmarks into the folder.

  • Create shortcuts to individual Web pages right on your desktop. In either Netscape or Internet Explorer, right-click on the page you want to make a shortcut for and select Create Shortcut. A shortcut to the page will be placed on your desktop. Double-click on the shortcut to open your browser and load the specified page.
