REPORT:
*Report length should be 1-2 pages.
*Create report using word processor. Report should be submitted ready to upload (i.e.
spell check done, proofed for errors.)
*Copy and paste from word processor directly into the report window.
(To copy and paste in word processor, highlight all text, go to EDIT and select copy. Go
to Report Window in EARS input form, click in window, right click
on mouse and select paste.)
*Add HTML codes to the text:
-Place <p> at the end of each paragraph. (This
will separate paragraphs with a blank line.)
-Place <br> at the end of the line for a line
break. (This will put in a hard return.)
-Select Copy/Paste HTML button for additional
formatting options.

Making Changes
You can make changes to your report up until the time it is approved. Use the document
ID that appears at the bottom of the input screen, in the EARS edit screen. You can access
the EARS web site at: http://www.ext.nodak.edu/progplan/
Technical Problems
If you are having technical problems, please send Dave Rice a note at
drice@ndsuext.nodak.edu.
Submitted reports will to go extension program leaders who will read the reports and
either approve them or return the reports to the author. Approved reports will go up on
the EARS web site and the author will receive a confirmation. Reports will be returned to
the author if they don't show sufficient program impact. No editing will be done by
program leaders.
