The program has multiple components to teach the basics in weed, disease and insect identification and scouting procedures, plus hands-on sessions devoted to important pest and production issues for major crops in the region. The school helps prepare individuals to be successful field scouts, and will update agricultural professionals on research and crop production recommendations for major crops grown in North Dakota.
