Meating the Future! Come learn the basics of meats judging

This is a perfect opportunity to explore meats for the first time. Come let NDSU Meat Lab personnel introduce you to the fundamentals of retail cuts and the meats we eat. Learn about quality and yield grading meat, how to identify different cuts of meat and how to answer basic questions about meat from different species. You also will have pork and beef carcasses to learn from and evaluate. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to explore the meat science industry and learn more about the meat products we consume.
