This six-day intensive summer citizenship program is for youth ages 15-19 (at the time of the trip).

If you attend CWF, you can expect to get a behind-the-scenes look at our nation’s capital, become involved in activities that stress the importance of civic and social responsibility, and experience hands-on learning in our nation’s capital.

CWF is held in June or July, and is open to any youth (ages 15-19) who apply. The cost is approximately $1700. Registration deadline is March 1.

Do you like to create rustic treasures? Do you see potential in tired, outdated or discarded materials? Learn the principles of design and explore your creativity to make home décor and other items using recyclable materials. You will learn how to explore your community for project ideas and materials. Adventure Camp IV

Come experience a little bit of everything at 4-H Camp. Adventure Camp focuses on different activities each day and encourages friendship, leadership and an appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Topics will include fun with outdoor science, exploring nature, healthful living, and many large-group activities such as Capture the Flag, fishing, canoeing, archery and water activities.

Youth field day at the Absaraka Horticulture Research Farm

The field day will provide demonstrations and hands-on activities focused on horticultural plant identification and the basics of plant growth and pollinators. Potential activities may include tree identification, tree pruning and planting demonstrations, a drone demonstration, tours of the high tunnel, hydroponic salad table demonstration, plant propagation exercises, pollinator lessons and observations, tour of NDSU fruit research, weed identification, and organic production.
